Ben BlythChair of Governors
Ben Blyth
Ben is a seasoned educational leader and currently serves as Deputy Head Teacher at an independent specialist provision in Kent, which achieved Ofsted Outstanding in all areas within its first year of operation.
With a career spanning primary, secondary, and tertiary education, Ben brings a wealth of experience and holds both the National Professional Qualification for Headship and the National Award for SEN Coordination.
He has a strong track record in change management and is particularly passionate about inclusive education, often integrating special educational needs, behaviour management, and professional development into his strategic approach. Ben has led and delivered teacher training and middle leadership programmes across a wide range of educational settings.
After many years working in London, Ben now lives in Kent with his family. He is a devoted Chelsea FC supporter and has a keen interest in film and theatre.

Victoria HodgsonStaff Governor
Victoria Hodgson
Victoria Hodgson started working in a full time role as Specialist SENCO, LSEAT Outreach in September 2024, working across primary and secondary schools in the London Boroughs of Bromley, Bexley and East Sussex. She is also part of the AP Specialist TaskForce in East Sussex. Victoria had previously been seconded to the service, post-COVID, to work with challenging students who were at risk of exclusion. Her current role supports APs and mainstream schools, working alongside vulnerable, complex students and families. She is a passionate advocate for SEND, prioritising the importance of understanding needs and building relationships with students.
Victoria has worked in education for thirteen years, in both inner and outer London secondary schools. She gained her QTS and NASENCo at IoE, UCL. Over this period, has held a variety of pastoral and SEN roles, including a leadership post.
Victoria has worked with Whole School SEN, NASEN and The Charles Dickens Research School, leading SEN in her previous school, as a case study in new academic research about the role of the SENCO in schools. She also trains the ECTs (Early Career Teachers) and has written a pedagogical framework on autism for Bromley Schools Collegiate. -
Mursal SiyidCommunity Governor
Mursal Siyid
Mursal brings over 15 years of teaching experience, with a strong specialism in Computer Science and a passion for supporting adult learners through ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). His career spans a diverse range of educational settings, where he has consistently demonstrated leadership and innovation. He has successfully held several senior roles, including Head of Department, Faculty Leader, and Lead Practitioner, each reflecting his commitment to excellence and his ability to inspire both students and colleagues.
Academically, Mursal holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Queen Mary University of London, complemented by an MBA in Management. This unique combination of technical expertise and strategic insight informs his forward-thinking approach to education. He is particularly interested in the transformative potential of technology-enhanced learning and digital innovation, with a focus on improving access, raising achievement, and fostering inclusive practices across the sector.
Mursal continues to share his expertise as a classroom practitioner, teaching in a secondary school outside the Trust. His ongoing engagement with students ensures his practice remains grounded, relevant, and responsive to the evolving needs of learners.

Jumi Joseph
Jumi is a passionate Learning and Development professional who brings empathy, creativity, and strategic insight to every aspect of her work. With a strong belief in the power of growth and lifelong learning, she is dedicated to designing and delivering impactful learning experiences that help individuals unlock their potential and thrive in both personal and professional settings.
Her love for working with children has been a consistent thread throughout her journey. Whether through volunteering, mentoring, or engaging with educational initiatives, Jumi finds deep fulfillment in nurturing young minds and contributing to their development. This passion enriches her approach to learning and development, infusing her work with warmth, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Ola HassanCommunity Governor
Ola Hassan
Ola is a dedicated and dynamic social impact professional with over four years of experience working across the education and charity sectors. Her academic foundation includes an LLB Law degree from the University of Kent, which has equipped her with a strong understanding of legal frameworks and advocacy. Ola is deeply passionate about challenging systemic inequalities, cultivating inclusive environments, and empowering young people to reach their full potential.
Currently, she is furthering her expertise by pursuing a Master's degree in Prosperity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at University College London. This programme reflects her commitment to driving meaningful change through innovative thinking and sustainable development.
Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Ola leads a well-rounded and purpose-driven life. She enjoys travelling, engaging in community service through her local church, and expanding her knowledge through thought-provoking podcasts. Her recent appointment as a school governor marks an exciting new chapter in her journey. Through this role, she aims to make a tangible contribution to her local community while continuing to grow as a leader.
Ola brings warmth, insight, and a strong sense of purpose to everything she does, and she is enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead to make a lasting impact.
